  30. Part of finding the solution was reading the manual... but the initial
  31. goal was to find the conflicting program.  The debugging phase is always
  32. to first remove the conflict entirely, get the new program working, and
  33. then work on getting the two running together.  One problem at a time!

  35. Anyways, I have Executive running again and found another point of
  36. interest.  Running Shapeshifter without Executive exhibits a problem
  37. switching screens.  I use CTRL-TAB to disable input on the Shapeshifter
  38. screen and Amiga-N to switch to the Workbench screen.  As soon as I
  39. click on a window, the machine locks up 100% of the time. Running
  40. Executive eliminates (displaces?) this problem!

  42. I suspect I have yet another conflict to locate and correct.
